Xiao Le (played by Zhang Jixuan) and Xiao Yan (played by Zhao Yuanyuan) are a young couple living in Beijing, just like many other struggling dreamers. They both have their own dreams, but when an opportunity finally arrives, things are not as easy as they had imagined. Their time together becomes scarce as Xiao Les career prospects shine while Xiao Yan remains a hairstylist. She starts to wonder if she can ever catch up with Xiao Les footsteps. In order to support Xiao Les dreams and growth, Xiao Yan makes the difficult decision to leave him. She used to believe that as long as they were together, they would be a happy and content couple. But now, they are torn apart. Xiao Yan leaves with a wounded heart, leaving behind a deep sense of loneliness blended with the memories of happiness they once shared. Finally, Xiao Le realizes what truly matters to him. He is determined to find his own genuine happiness and reclaim his own dreams.
